The ECCC Hits 1,000 hires!
The Employment Collaborative of Cuyahoga County counts its 1,000 connected hire. By connecting Employer Partners to some of the talented job seekers with disabilities and barriers to employment the ECCC has made a lasting impact in Cuyahoga County.
For nine years, The ECCC has been helping local businesses in the Greater Cleveland Area with their hiring needs. Whether it has been helping a company with staffing a dishwasher, filling an IT role or making the perfect fit at a warehouse, the ECCC has provided top tier talent.
Even during COVID-19 the ECCC was able to continue its important mission. During the lockdowns of 2020 the ECCC still managed to assist businesses fill 124 positions. During the labor shortage crisis in 2021 the ECCC’s efforts where on full display when companies need us the most. To date, 2021 remains our banner year for hires, as the ECCC was able to assist over 125 unique companies hire 253 new employees.
