Current Position and what you do: Workforce Development Manager, responsible for managing operations over the Employment and Transition Services divisions at Koinonia Enterprises, by creating and developing business partnerships to help drive competitive placements, assist ECCC with educating community businesses on inclusion and helping those businesses tap into our combined, qualified job candidate pool.
As ECCC President, I will align my responsibilities to ECCC strategic plan and actively participate in decision making for the collaborative. I will be holding co-chairs accountable to their committees’ activities, member involvement and strategic direction. I will assist in educating the BAC on voting responsibilities and work closely with the VP to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives.
Proudest Professional accomplishment: When I am out and about in the community and I notice one of the job seekers that came through the collaborative and placed competitively.
Describe your values and how they inform your career: Giving the fullest of my efforts to finding meaningful community employment for a job seeker that gives them a sense of belonging and happiness to fulfill or enrich their lives in some way.
Who are you outside of work: A sports fanatic, a soccer coach and a family man. Very social and energetic professional with a passion for helping others.
